OUR MISSION:

To partner with primary care veterinarians to provide comprehensive oncology consultation and customized chemotherapy treatment, enabling patients to receive safe, economical, and accessible cancer treatment in the general practice setting.

about us

Veterinary Oncology Partners was established by a group of board certified small animal specialists. Our goal is increasing access to cancer care and treatment options from within a general veterinary practice setting. VOP works directly with primary care veterinarians to provide guidance and treatment options for even the most complicated cancer diagnoses.

Many pet owners find themselves located hours from a veterinary oncologist.  This distance is challenging as many pet owners are unable to travel for repeated appointments.  Safe chemotherapy administration is another challenge in primary care veterinary practices.

Traditionally, veterinarians administering chemotherapy are required to have containment hoods and dedicated, specially-designed, negative pressure treatment rooms in order to be in compliance with safety guidelines. VOP's proprietary consultation and pharmacy fulfillment system allows individually prepared chemotherapy doses to be packaged in a closed delivery system and shipped directly to primary care veterinarians for administration.

VOP provides onsite and online staff training to ensure the highest level of safety for every patient and staff member.  Each step of a patient's cancer therapy journey is guided by VOP specialists to ensure the best possible outcome while receiving care in the comfort of the primary care veterinarian's office.
